Alyssa is an accredited investor relations professional with over 20 years of experience across communications, private equity, in-house issuer roles, and advisory work. She specializes in capital markets strategy, shareholder engagement, and high-stakes communications. She has raised more than $1 billion in capital, led prominent shareholder activism campaigns, supported high-profile M&A transactions, and helped boards and management teams strengthen governance and disclosure practices.
Previously, Alyssa co-founded irlabs and held senior roles as Head of Strategy, Operations and Communications at Artis REIT, Vice President of Capital Markets and Communications at Sandpiper Group, and Manager of Investor Relations at Amica Mature Lifestyles Inc. These roles deepened her expertise in capital markets, corporate strategy, and stakeholder communications, and inform her work with boards and executive teams.
Alyssa most often advises on activism preparedness and campaigns, M&A and other strategic transactions, capital raising, ongoing shareholder engagement, and investor-day and earnings communications programs. She has extensive experience working with boards, C-suite executives, institutional investors and retail shareholders across Canada and North America.
She holds the Certified Professional in Investor Relations (CPIR) designation. In the community, Alyssa serves as a Director of ALS Canada and LIFT Impact Partners, is a member of the Women Presidents Organization (WPO), and acts as an advisor to Women Get on Board and Women Funding Women. She was named to Business in Vancouver’s Forty Under 40 Awards (2024) and was recognized as one of Women’s Executive Network’s (WXN) 2024 Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award Winners.
